If the lack of leadership demonstrated, to date, is any indication of the caliber of organizational leadership that will attempt to execute the United Methodist Church/ Re-Think Church/ Wildomar Parks & Recreation/Great Day of Service 2013 on October 26, 2013, the volunteer program may already be in trouble.
For example, on July 10, 2013 , the Wildomar Cemetery District agreed to permit the use of the parking facilities to facilitate the running of shuttle buses for the volunteers from the cemetery district parking lot to the various locations for their volunteer work.

Perhaps, after a couple of hours of volunteer landscaping. the lure of a Chick-fil-A lunch and gospel “celebration” service would be diminished if the volunteers were taken back to the cemetery parking lot and had to make their own way over to William Collier elementary school.
After all, this effort is essentially about the United Methodist Church recruiting new members from Wildomar.
